
Meagan’s Hug Fellowship in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology
The Meagan’s Hug Fellowship in Paediatric Neuro-Oncology 2026-2027 at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) is now accepting applications for its clinical and research fellowship, which can be completed over one, two, or three years. This prestigious program offers trainees the opportunity to train in one of the largest and most renowned paediatric brain tumour programs worldwide. It provides a combination of clinical and research experience, focusing on multi-disciplinary care for paediatric brain tumour patients and excellence in both clinical and research training.
The fellowship offers a 12-month clinical training program, where trainees will develop expert consultant skills in Paediatric Neuro-Oncology and gain experience in early-phase clinical trials and personalized medicine. Additionally, there are opportunities to engage in clinical academic and translational research, with funding available through the Garron Family Cancer Centre. Trainees are also encouraged to contribute to international clinical and research initiatives.
The fellowship is led by Dr. Vijay Ramaswamy, the Neuro-Oncology Fellowship Director. Applicants must be certified or board-eligible in Paediatric Haematology and/or Oncology and can be from Canadian or international jurisdictions.
