“Embracing the Gift Mindset: A Heartfelt Thanks to Renee Giarrusso.
As 2025 begins at an incredible pace for BCNA, members of our Policy Advocacy, Helpline, and Consumer Engagement and Partnerships teams had the privilege of spending transformative time with the inspiring Renee Giarrusso. Despite experiencing her own breast cancer diagnosis and undergoing treatment, Renee exemplifies the gift mindset – a way of thinking that turns challenges into opportunities for growth and learning.
Renee guided us in pausing, reflecting, and setting personal goals to prepare for 2025. Her insights and lessons have been invaluable, fostering personal growth, empathy, and a culture of connection within our team. Although some team members are missing from the photo, the impact of our time with Renee was felt by all.
We are incredibly grateful for Renee’s support and leadership. Thank you, Renee, for being an extraordinary part of our community.”
