Curt Malloy: I’ve assumed the role of Board Chair at The Max Foundation
Curt Malloy, Vice President of Strategic Operations at HDT Bio, shared a post on LinkedIn by The Max Foundation, adding:
“Whew! January flew by, but one development I’m excited to share is that I’ve assumed the role of Board Chair at The Max Foundation. It’s an honor to lead such a passionate group of people dedicated to strengthening health systems in low- and middle-income countries.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Paula Boultbee for her exceptional leadership during her tenure as Board Chair. Paula, I learned a lot from you, and we are all grateful for your continued support as a board member.
Joining me in new roles include Graciela Mabel Woloj as our Secretary and Edgar Thomas, who is taking on my former role as Treasurer. Their expertise and commitment will undoubtedly drive our mission forward.
Together, we will continue to address the treatment gap for cancer, one patient at a time.”
Quoting The Max Foundation’s post below:
“We’re thrilled to announce the addition of three new board members and the expansion of our U.S. and global staff! Join us in welcoming:
Viji Venkatesh: You’re already familiar with our retired regional head of South Asia with over 36 years in cancer care and patient support; Viji is the founder of the Friends of Max patient support group and Chai For Cancer.
Amadou Diarra, PhD: A distinguished healthcare executive with over three decades in the global pharmaceutical industry, Amadou recently retired as Senior Vice President of Global Policy, Advocacy, and Government Affairs at Bristol Myers Squibb
Aparna Anderson, PhD: Bringing over 30 years of experience in research, biostatistics, and leadership, Aparna currently works as a Portfolio Statistics Leader at the Bill and Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute.
Our Board of Directors now has 11 seats, up from the previous eight. We look forward to the impact these incredible leaders will have as we continue to make strides in global health.”
