Monika Pansari: Silent Signs of Cervical Cancer You Shouldn’t Ignore
Monika Pansari, Senior Consultant in Surgical Oncology at Fortis Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Silent Signs of Cervical Cancer You Shouldn’t Ignore!
Cervical cancer often develops without obvious symptoms in its early stages, making regular screening essential.
However, some warning signs could indicate a need for immediate medical attention:
- Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding – Bleeding between periods, after intercourse, or post-menopause may be a red flag.
- Unusual Vaginal Discharge – A watery, foul-smelling, or blood-tinged discharge could signal changes in cervical cells.
- Pelvic Pain – Persistent discomfort or pain in the pelvic region that isn’t related to menstruation may require evaluation.
- Changes in Urination – Increased frequency, pain, or blood in urine could be a sign of cervical involvement.
Early detection saves lives!
If you or someone you know experiences any of these symptoms, don’t wait—schedule a cervical cancer screening today.”
