Yüksel Ürün: New Study on Cancer Biomarkers!
Yüksel Ürün, Medical Oncologist at Ankara University, shared a post on X/Twitter:
“New Study on Cancer Biomarkers! Tumor Mutational Burden (TMB) shows mixed results as a predictor for immune therapy success. It works well for lung, head and neck, and urothelial cancers but not for melanoma or oesophagal/gastric cancers.
This study suggests we need more tailored approaches to predict therapy success, not a one-size-fits-all TMB measure.”
