Michelle Kirschner: Incredibly proud of the work I’m doing through the Cancer Survivorship Provider Network
Michelle Kirschner, Director of Program Development at The Cancer Survivorship Provider Network, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In this busy world, we can only divide our time among a finite number of goals. It’s so important to stay focused on impact and your mission. I’m incredibly proud of the work I’m doing through the Cancer Survivorship Provider Network (CSPN).
Staying true to my mission of identifying and leveraging impactful ways to improve cancer care on the ground right now is so meaningful to me. By identifying pain points for our oncology leadership, managers, providers, and staff, and finding ways to address them, we’ve created a powerful formula for promoting engagement.
I received tremendous feedback after the CSPN’s CoC Standard 4.8 Working Group meeting last week. Working with 95 cancer programs to help them expand and improve their survivorship care is an honor and a true pleasure. We are also fortunate to have CoC Leadership serving as a resource for this group, which has elevated all the work we are doing.
With all the time I spend creating solutions, I depend on others to share the great resources at CSPN. I have attached a flyer, and it would be so helpful if you could share it with others:
- Share with oncology navigators looking for resources for their patients and caregivers.
- Share with providers who want to learn about high-quality supportive care and access practical tools and Ask the Expert sessions.
- Share with cancer leadership interested in exploring the ROI-Business Case around cancer care.
- Share with specialists involved in cancer rehabilitation, integrative, and lifestyle medicine who want to break down silos and create a structured infrastructure for comprehensive, precision, and patient-centered care.
- Share with those busy providing care who could benefit from curated information around national conferences, webinars, and courses.
- Share with those who could use the emotional support of networking with others who know what it’s like to do ‘the hard thing’ each day.
- Share with advocates and other organizations that want to connect with over 1,400 individuals who share the same mission.
- Share with others who want to use their talents to make a change through a peer-to-peer run organization.
Thank you for helping spread the word and supporting our mission!”
