“In honour of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on 11 February, ESTRO is celebrating the incredible women shaping the future of radiotherapy and oncology!
We received over 70 inspiring pictures from institutes worldwide, showcasing the dedication of women in science. While women make up only 33.3% of researchers globally (UNESCO), initiatives like this highlight their invaluable contributions and the need for greater diversity and inclusion in STEM.
We deeply appreciate everyone who took part in this initiative and remain committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community where every voice matters. Let’s keep inspiring the next generation of scientists!
