“10th Annual West Oncology Conference.
Wow! We thought we had 150 registered and by the end of day one, we had over 200 attendees at this 10th annual meeting! Standing room only! We were blessed to have Douglas Flora, from St. Elizabeth Healthcare among some of the expert thought leaders, and it touched my heart to hear how much his career was influenced by Dr Lee Schwartzberg of Renown Health.
As always, Jason Chandler, Gregory Vidal and Brad Somer brought great energy as co-chairs of the meeting. They were joined by some of the best speakers we gather throughout the year. Thank you to all of you who served through teaching – Heinz Josef Lenz, Tyler Johnson, Axel Grothey, Heather Greene, Paxton Dickson, Noam VanderWalde, David Carbone, Fred Hirsch, Ramakrishna Battini, Jason Porter, Holger Gieschen, William Wierda, George Yaghmour, Pierluigi Porcu, Brian Van Tine, Charles Nguyen, Daniel Vaena, Tian Zhang, Anna Bradley, Erika Stringer, Reasor Erin Cobain, Richard Gilmore, Keck Medicine of USC, Stanford University, University of Tennessee System, The Ohio State University, MD Anderson Cancer Center.
