Andrea Wilson Woods: In memory of my loved ones who have died from cancer on World Cancer Day

“In memory of my loved ones who have died from cancer on World Cancer Day. I’ve lost six family members to five different kinds of cancer. Now my father is battling lung cancer, too.
- Zelmer Wilson Sr, paternal grandfather, lung cancer (1979)
- Charles Hodges, maternal uncle, bone cancer (2000)
- James Vaughn, paternal uncle, lung cancer (2005)
- Jay Hurd, step-grandfather, head/neck cancer (2015)
- Laurel Green, maternal aunt, breast cancer (2016)
And the greatest loss of my life …
- Adrienne Wilson, sister, child, and the best kid ever, liver cancer (2001)
I miss you. I honor you. And hope to see you again one day. Everything I do for Blue Faery: The Adrienne Wilson Liver Cancer Association is for you.
