“There was a time in my life where World Cancer Day may have passed me by. That was before I heard the words, ‘You Have Cancer’. Now, it’s personal. Now, it’s professional. At The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, we have a new bold goal: to enable patients with blood cancer to gain more than one million years of life by 2040.
Every extra day matters after you hear these words. My extra days have included my wedding, the birth of my son, growing in my career, becoming an artist, having gray hair. Learn more about how we can reach this goal together.”
