“Proud to present the FAST and 2-in-1 dual screening models during the World Health Organization (WHO) visit to our women’s cancer screening program sites!
The FAST model – Fast HPV testing, Affordable cost, Systematic tracking, and Timely diagnosis and treatment – is revolutionizing cervical cancer screening.
In the past 14 weeks, we screened over 75,000 women, and now we’re focusing on follow-ups for those who are HPV positive. Our goal is to reach a 90% follow-up rate in the next few weeks, ensuring that women with precancerous lesions receive treatment in a single visit.
The 2-in-1 dual screening model is also part of our standard practice. By integrating breast cancer screening with cervical cancer screening, we not only maximize resources and increase efficiency but also enhance access, providing woman-centered care.
We were honored to welcome Dr. Prebo Barango, Prof. Groesbeck Parham, and Claire Kimilu, WHO. Their visit underscored the impact of these innovative, scalable models in advancing the global effort to eliminate cervical cancer and improve women’s health outcomes. Seeing their engagement with our team and their recognition of these models’ success is incredibly motivating.
