So grateful to MD Anderson Cancer Center !! 15 years ago exactly to the day, I arrived in Houston TX, my heart filled with hope & optimism as I started my journey as a budding hematologist/oncologist at MD Anderson Cancer Center heme/onc fellowship, and then ultimately stayed on as facutly in the Dept of Leukemia and now also serving as Executive Director for Cancer Medicine for the Cancer Network. 15 years later, my life & career forever positively transformed, I am filled with even more hope & optimsm than ever before and that is directly attributed to working day in and day out with the best team in the world at MD Anderson Cancer Center!
Thank you 🙏🏾 to the entire Leukemia dept & dept chair Professor Hagop Kantarjian, our original heme/onc fellowship program director Dr Bob Wolff, to our President Dr Peter Pisters, to Dr Jeff Lee and our Cancer Network team, to our patients & their families and all of my colleagues & mentors & trainees over the past 15 years, let’s keep it going together in our efforts together to one day endcancer.
