2 million dollars from 24 Foundation to support cancer survivorship at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute
Atrium Health Foundation posted on LinkedIn:
“Atrium Health Foundation is excited to announce a $2 million gift from 24 Foundation to support cancer survivorship and wellness programs at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute and Atrium Health Levine Children’s in Charlotte.
This generous gift will enhance Levine Cancer Institute’s integrative oncology program, funding vital services like art and music therapy, yoga, acupuncture, and personalized nutrition plans for adult and pediatric cancer patients. It will also benefit Levine Children’s survivorship program, supporting mental health initiatives, the healthy snack cart, and a new prehabilitation program to strengthen patients physically and mentally before treatment.
‘We are deeply grateful for our long-standing partnership with 24 Foundation and their continued dedication to our cancer patients and their care teams,’ said Dr. Ruben Mesa, president of Atrium Health Levine Cancer. ‘Their transformational philanthropic investments continue to propel us to the forefront of supportive oncology, fueling crucial services that ensure our patients thrive throughout their treatment.’
Since 2002, 24 Foundation has invested over $7 million in Atrium Health, improving the quality of life for those impacted by cancer.
