Percy Lee: No other radiation oncology in market can do this
Percy Lee, Professor and Vice-Chair of Clinical Research at City of Hope, shared on Twitter:
“Lots been said as to why ViewRay failed. It is not because of the technology. This patient has limited lung function, stage I NSCLC sitting at base of his left lung. Another patient we helped to preserve his lung with MRIdian. No other radiation oncology in market can do this.
It’s a team sport City of Hope | Orange County and City of Hope radiation oncology department.
Meet Gina and Danielle from Hoag who we recruited for the MR guided program specifically.
Meet Dr. Maragechi and Dr. Shi who previously worked at Washington University News and New York Proton Center. These talented individual allowed us to launch our program while others ladies or stopped.
President of the United States, U.S FDA please help us as a cancer community preserve a life-saving technology in radiation oncology for cancer patients in ViewRay chapter 7 bankruptcy in the hands of a government trustee.”
