Cancer Fight Tanzania was engaging with the medical students of the TAMSA, Kairuki Chapter at Hubert Kairuki Memorial University
Cancer Fight Tanzania shared on LinkedIn:
“Yesterday, Cancer Fight Tanzania had the privilege of engaging with the passionate medical students of the Tanzania Medical Students’ Association (TAMSA), Kairuki Chapter at Hubert Kairuki Memorial University.
The session focused on raising awareness about cervical cancer, covering vital topics such as its epidemiology, risk factors, symptoms, and key prevention strategies. Emphasis was placed on the importance of HPV vaccination and early screening for pre-malignant lesions as critical tools in combating this preventable disease.
We also encouraged these future healthcare professionals to take on the role of advocates for cervical cancer prevention, recognizing their potential to shape a healthier future for Tanzania.
Together, we can make a significant impact in the fight against cervical cancer. Let’s continue raising awareness and saving lives!”
