Ishwaria Subbiah: Caring for our carers is at the heart of any cancer moonshot
Ishwaria Subbiah shared on LinkedIn:
”Honored to serve as the Medical Director for Professional Well-being for The US Oncology Network! And this week marked a milestone as we announced our network-wide clinician-wellbeing strategy to our oncology leaders.
Every mission against cancer begins with taking care of the health care professionals who will get us there. Our physicians, apps, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and many others across The US Oncology Network have deep roots in the communities they serve and collectively care for over 1 million people with cancer across 24 US states.
So, whether it’s partnering with the Sarah Cannon Research Institute to bring cutting edge clinical trials into the community closer than ever to patients’ homes or ensuring highest quality of cancer care for our seniors and those living in rural America, caring for our carers is at the heart of any cancer moonshot! Stay tuned for more!”
