Christine M. Lovly: Let’s end the stigma and change the narrative about lung cancer
Christine M. Lovly shared a post by IASLC on X/Twitter:
“ A sobering statistic. Lung Cancer is the number 1 cause of cancer related deaths in the USA. ~50% of women with lung cancer are non-smokers. Let’s end the stigma and change the narrative about lung cancer to help all patients.”
Quoting IASLC’s post:
“Anyone with lungs can get lung cancer. Worldwide, ~20% of men with lung cancer are non-smokers while over 50% of women with lung cancer are non-smokers.”
