What is BRAF? – Global Colon Cancer Association
Global Colon Cancer Association shared a post on LinkedIn:
“BRAF is a gene involved in controlling cell growth that is mutated (abnormal) in 10-15% of colorectal cancers. BRAF is a predictive biomarker which means it gives information about which treatments will work best for a particular cancer.
Colorectal cancer with BRAF mutations can be treated with targeted therapy like BRAF inhibitor drugs.
