Antonio M. Grimaldi: The visit of the Three Wise Men of the Living Nativity Scene of Pietrelcina
Antonio M. Grimaldi, Director of the Complex Oncology Structure of the ‘San Pio’ hospital in Benevento, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Yesterday the patients and all the staff of the Medical Oncology Unit of the AORN San Pio received the visit of the Three Wise Men of the Living Nativity Scene of Pietrelcina who, together with Brother Daniele Moffa, brought the great gift of comfort and hope.
I saw many good hearts among the patients, the staff of the Oncology Department and the protagonists of the living nativity scene get emotional to tears, gather together to celebrate the fraternity and love that accompanies everything that is done with the heart and share the surprise of an unexpected visit and the suffering of those who will spend Christmas in the hospital.
A special thanks and best wishes for a Merry Christmas to the parish priest of Pietrelcina, the young Fra Daniele Moffa, to the President of the Living Nativity Scene Association of Pietrelcina, Daniela Fioretti, to the shepherdess Giusi Mineo, who came specially from Sicily, to the bagpipers Piero and Marco and to the fantastic Three Wise Men Cosimo Orlacchio, Pellegrino Scocca and Giuseppe Mazzone.
