TNBC is a scourge on this earth. I am so angry that this disease exists and at what it does to my patients every damn day. I should be sad and grieving for my babies (all of my patients are my babies) this is affecting, but today I’m too angry to be sad. I need better drugs.

Rebecca A. Shatsky is an Associate Professor of Medicine and a board-certified medical oncologist at the University of California, San Diego. She specializes in treating breast cancer and is part of UC San Diego Health’s Precision Immunotherapy Clinic.
