Shortly after the announcement of his 2024 medicine prize, Gary Ruvkun jumped aboard an ice cream truck and served treats to his colleagues and lab members.
Ruvkun shares the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Victor Ambros ‘for the discovery of microRNA and its role in post-transcriptional gene regulation.’ Both will present their lectures in medicine tomorrow, streaming live on nobelprize.org
