Yüksel Ürün: An honor and joy to be featured in The ASCO Post

Yüksel Ürün, Medical Oncology Professor at Ankara University School of Medicine, shared a post on X:

“It is truly an honor and joy to be featured in The ASCO Post!

Reflecting on the power of social media in oncology, the significance of global collaboration, and the invaluable lessons I gained during my time at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has been deeply meaningful.

The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Leadership Development Program taught me that leadership is more than a title—it’s a commitment shaped by advocacy, integrity, and collaboration.

These experiences remind me of the shared mission that unites us all: building a better future for our patients.

I am sincerely grateful to everyone who has supported me on this journey.
Together, we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many.”

Neeraj Agarwal, Professor of Medicine, and a Presidential Endowed Chair of Cancer Research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, shared this post, adding:

“Congrats, Yuksel, on everything you have achieved through your hard work and passion. We look forward to your incredible career trajectory in the years to come. Thanks for sharing your story!”

Silke GillessenMedical and Scientific Director of the Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland, also congratulated Yuksel:
