Nastaran Zahir: Supporting Families at The Children’s Inn at NIH
Nastaran Zahir, Branch Director of the Cancer Training Branch at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), shared on LinkedIn:
“Yesterday my colleagues from the NCI Center for Cancer Training came together to prepare and serve dinner for children and their families at The Children’s Inn at NIH. We wanted to give a home-cooked meal to the patients from across the world who are participating in pediatric research at the NIH Clinical Center (CC). I’m grateful for this wonderful, supportive team I get to work with at Train at NCI.
The Children’s Inn at NIH is a nonprofit organization that provides residential services and a wide range of programs to children, teens, and young adults with rare and serious diseases whose best hope for a diagnosis or treatment is an NIH clinical research study.
