NY Lung 24 Highlights by Isabel Preeshagul
The NY Lung 24 (19th Annual New York Lung Cancers Symposium) took place on November 16th, 2024, in New York City, bringing together healthcare professionals from across the region for an in-depth exploration of multidisciplinary lung cancer treatment.
The event was co-chaired by Drs. Balazs Halmos and Mark Kris, and provided a comprehensive overview of the roles of surgery, radiology, pulmonology, and pathology in lung cancer diagnosis and treatment. Experts from the New York area presented the latest advancements in therapies for early-stage, locally advanced, and metastatic lung cancers, including immunotherapy and targeted agents.
