“Last week, ECO was represented at the Regional Alliance’s forum in Istanbul, bringing a spotlight to ECO’s policy work and commitment to eliminating HPV-related cancers.
This annual event organised by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Eastern Europe and Central Asia Regional Office, unites key stakeholders—including government leaders, healthcare experts, and civil society partners—to tackle the region’s high cervical cancer rates and develop coordinated action for prevention.
We talked about collective policy activities and efforts to eliminate those cancers caused by HPV through advocacy, vaccination, and screening initiatives.
