Addressing cancer disparities among Black women – American Cancer Society
American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network shared the following on LinkedIn:
“Black women are 40% more likely to die of breast cancer than White women. Although Breast Cancer Awareness Month is coming to an end, our work to address cancer disparities in the Black community and improve health outcomes continues.
That’s why VOICES of Black Women is so important—it’s a pivotal long-term study to better understand how and why health conditions like cancer disproportionately affect Black women. Your voice today can change our collective future forever. Check your eligibility and join today at voices.cancer.org.”
