Alcohol consumption increases the risk of cancer at 7 sites – IARC
IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer/World Health Organization) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Alcohol consumption increases the risk of cancer at 7 sites: the oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, oesophagus, colorectum, liver, and female breast.
In 2020, alcohol consumption was associated with 98,000 cases of female Breast Cancer.”
