Over 98% of skin cancers can be successfully treated if found early – Paul Fenton
This year marks my fifth as a participant in Skin Check Champions‘ BeardSeason to help raise funds and awareness to save Aussies from skin cancer.
This campaign is not just about the act of growing a beard, it’s about the powerful reminder that skin checks save lives.
We’ve come a long way in Australia in terms of our behaviours that prevent skin cancer, but still, two out of three of us are likely to form skin cancer before we’re 75. Thankfully though, over 98% of skin cancers can be successfully treated if found early.
I’m committed to taking this important conversation further: to friends, family and colleagues.
