“On October 6, Swim Across America – Charlotte held its eighth annual charity swim, raising $270,000 for cancer research at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute and Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital! This milestone pushes Swim Across America’s lifetime support of our cancer program to over $1 million!

Many swimmers helped make this achievement possible, including seven-year-old Margaret Anne, a brave two-time cancer survivor. She joined Levine Cancer Institute’s team captains, Drs. Michael Grunwald and Lawrence Druhan, for a lap to honor those impacted by the disease.
The generosity displayed by Swim Across America and everyone who participated will directly support essential research, prevention, and treatment programs that are instrumental in saving lives.
