Aladina Foundation Plans Largest Pediatric Hospital Gym in Spain to Support Children with Cancer in Murcia
Fundación Aladina shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last week our director Ishtar Espejo visited the Murcia City Council to meet with José Ballesta, Mayor of Murcia, and talk about the actions that Aladina wants to carry out in the region to help all children with cancer in Murcia.
In addition to changing the Waiting Room of the Virgin of La Arrixaca Hospital, we bring sport closer to the Aladdins through our Physical Exercise program and our colleague Raúl, who keeps the children with cancer admitted to La Arrixaca in shape.
We have a much larger project underway that will significantly improve the quality of life of children with cancer: the Aladina Gymnasium.
We want to create a fully equipped gym in the pediatric area of the hospital where children with cancer receive the doctor-prescribed rehabilitation they need and where they benefit from all the advantages of sports.
An ambitious project with a cost of 745,000 euros that will become the largest gym in a hospital in Spain.
Thanks to meetings like this we managed to establish objectives and a path to follow to continue improving the lives of hundreds of sick children in Murcia.
Help us now by donating to make this gym a reality.”
