“Dr. Zeena Salman is one of the Arab world’s leading humanitarian pediatric oncologists, dedicated to saving children with cancer, especially in conflict zones and underserved regions.
With over 20 years of experience, she has worked tirelessly across the Middle East and beyond, offering life-saving treatment to children in places like Palestine, Syria, Morocco, and Ukraine.
After her studies at Johns Hopkins and a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering, she left a prestigious career to ensure children worldwide receive the cancer care they deserve.
Her mission: global equity in pediatric cancer care.”
Zeena Salman shared this post adding:
“In 2022, TAKREEM Foundation honored me with their humanitarian award for my work with refugee and underserved children with cancer. Two years later, the world is a much worse place as we watch children being killed in Palestine and Sudan (my two homes) amongst others.
The need is more vast than ever, and I have redoubled my commitment to serving children in need.”
