” Glad to have a chance to speak to the audience about cancer in RI and the progress in recent years at Legorreta Cancer Center at Brown University, The Warren Alpert Medical School, Brown University, Legorreta Cancer Center in building research programs, infrastructure, community outreach, and a superb cancer clinical trials program.
There are numerous opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborations in RNA biology, metabolism, hypoxia, senescence, drug repurposing, and neuroscience.
All of these areas that were discussed at today’s retreat by other disciplines here at Brown illustrate the great potential we have here in RI to have great impact on the fields of cancer research and clinical oncology.”
