Sujuan Ba: “Bridging Clinical Trial and Research Collaboration” at CAHON’s 11th New York Oncology Forum
Sujuan Ba, President and CEO at National Foundation for Cancer Research, posted on LinkedIn:
“It is always great to be with my friends and colleagues at the Chinese American Hematologists and Oncologists Network (CAHON). This past weekend, I spent two incredibly productive days attending CAHON’s 11th New York Oncology Forum, where more than 100 physicians and clinical researchers around the US gathered to share compelling data and ideas to advance science and positively impact cancer patients. I had the honor to serve on the panel discussing ‘Bridging Clinical Trial and Research Collaboration,’ which consists of panelists of oncologists at the academic center and community clinics, program director of the government funding agency, drug regulators, pharmaceutical companies, biotechs, and non-profit organizations. It was an inspiring and stimulating panel discussing how we can bridge and collaborate to improve the quality and efficiency of clinical trials to advance innovative therapies from research labs to patients’ bedsides. I am proud to be a member of the CAHON, one of the most congenial, diligent, supportive, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable groups I have seen.”
