Petra Ibum Adjah: As cancer control advocates, we see the light taken out of eyes when a breast cancer diagnosis is given
Petra Ibum Adjah, Cancer Care and Control Advocate and Non-Clinical Oncology Patient Navigator at Pink Africa Foundation, shared a post by Pink Africa Foundation, on LinkedIn:
”As cancer control advocates, we see the light taken out of eyes when a breast cancer diagnosis is given.
We see the fight, hope, determination, and prayers invested in the journey. We’ve seen smiles on faces and tears, too.
As a community, we’re there in every season. Early detection and prompt treatment increase the chances of survival.
With support from family, friends, and the general public, many more women and men can be victors in the fight. ‘Better Than One‘ is a community at arms against breast cancer. ”
