Françoise Meunier: Honoured to attend the Pink Ribbon Belgium event launching Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Françoise Meunier shared on LinkedIn:
“It was both an honour and a pleasure to attend the Pink Ribbon Belgium event launching Breast Cancer Awareness Month yesterday. The engagement of key European figures, including European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and Vice-Presidents Sabine Verheyen, Antonella Sberna, and Quaestor Marc Angel, underscores the importance of this cause.
As Vice-President Verheyen emphasized, cancer patients want normalcy. This powerful statement reminds us that beyond better screening and treatment, we need robust legislative measures to address all forms of discrimination, including financial discrimination, that breast cancer survivors face.
Every survivor deserves the right to rebuild their life free from the shadow of cancer-related stigma. Let’s work together to ensure they have access to the protections and opportunities needed for a full return to normal life.”
