Andreas Brandl is a Consultant and Surgical Oncologist at the Department of General, Visceral, and Transplantation Surgery at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. Alongside his clinical duties, he leads research on biomarkers as targets for new therapies in gastrointestinal cancers and has served as faculty at oncological educational events in Germany and internationally for eight years, enhancing surgical oncologists’ understanding of these malignancies.
