”Looking to support the breast cancer community this October? Be on the lookout. Not every pink ribboned goodie you purchase will support us.
We call it pinkwashing. Really, it’s commercial exploitation. And breast cancer is the most prominent example of this of all the cancers.
It’s why we all need to think before we pink. And ask. How much will you donate if I buy this? Where will you donate? If you don’t like the answers, take your dollars elsewhere.
