Sachin Jain: How can ethics help healthcare organizational leaders navigate emerging challenges?

“How can ethics help healthcare organizational leaders navigate emerging challenges in the practice and business of medicine?
I am participating in a discusssion with the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics this Friday, September 27–and encourage you to join.
During this fireside chat with Lauren Taylor and Kelsey Berry, PhD, I will explore the trends and challenges facing healthcare organizations today and the role that ethics play in charting a course forward.
We will explore what it means (and takes) for organizational leaders to adopt an ethics lens in their decision making, critically reexamine dominant frameworks for setting organizational strategy such as ‘no margin, no mission’, and interrogate the moral leadership crisis and possible solutions in health care.
I’ll look forward to sharing perspectives developed during my time in government, at Merck, at CareMore Health, and, most recently, at SCAN.
I hope to see many of you there!”
