Winette van der Graaf is the President of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC). She is a professor and the head of medical oncology Department at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (Amsterdam), Professor of Oncology at Erasmus MC (Rotterdam).

Prior to that, she was a professor at Institute of Cancer Research and Honorary Consultant at Royal Marsden Hospital (London, UK), Professor and Head of Medical Oncology Department at the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre.

Dr. van der Graaf is a Board member of the European Cancer Organisation (ECO), Board member of the Connective Tissue Oncology (CTOS). She was the Chairperson of the EORTC Soft Tissue and Bone Sarcoma Group.

David Thomas is the inaugural Director of the Centre for Molecular Oncology at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). He also serves as the Head of the Genomic Cancer Medicine Laboratory at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.

Additionally, Prof. Thomas is the CEO of Omico. His research focuses on applying genomic technologies to better understand and manage cancer, with a particular emphasis on sarcomas.
