Andrea Botticelli is an Assistant Professor at Sapienza University of Rome and the Coordinator of the Breast Unit at Umberto I University Hospital. His research focuses on precision and personalized medicine, particularly in breast cancer. He is involved in the study of biomarkers, specifically SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphisms), to better understand patient metabolism, aiming to reduce unnecessary toxicity and improve treatment compliance.
