“The 2024 Global Summit and Award Ceremonies for Cancer Research & Entrepreneurship, co-hosted by AIM-HI partnering with the National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR), is set for October 18, 2024, at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. The conference consists of four parts:
- New Frontier for Cancer Research, including a morning keynote address from Dr. Drew Pardoll and two panels: New Approaches to Cancer Treatments and Early Detection & Cancer Prevention;
- Luncheon & AIM-HI Women’s Initiatives Award Ceremony, honoring AACR CEO Dr. Margaret Foti, who will receive the 2024 Beacon Award for Women Leaders in Oncology; the 2024 Women’s Venture Competition winners Nabanita Nawar, PhD, of HDAX Therapeutics and Paraskevi (Evi) Giannakakou, Ph.D. of ARMA BIO;
- Emerging Oncology Companies Showcase and Investors’ Perspective, moderated by Matt Tremblay, Ph.D., Chairman of the AIM-HI Board of Directors and CEO of Blackbird Laboratories.
- Reception, Dinner & 2024 Szent-Györgyi Prize Award Ceremony honoring Dr. Dennis J. Slamon with UCLA, with an evening keynote address from Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee, 2011 Pulitzer Prize Winner.
