Joshua Omale: The role of policy in childhood cancer care
Joshua Omale shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Day 13: The role of policy in childhood cancer care.
No doubt, policy shapes healthcare, and right now, childhood cancer care is not really a policy priority in Nigeria and most middle income countries. Without a strong, national framework guiding treatment protocols, funding, and research, children will continue to suffer unnecessarily.
We need policies that prioritize pediatric oncology, ensure affordable treatment for all, and support the families going through this devastating journey. It’s high time childhood cancer care became a national priority!”
