Julie Sprengel: I was proud to join members of our Dignity Health California to give back to our communities
Julie Sprengel, President & Chief Executive Officer of CommonSpirit Health, shared the following post by Dignity Health California on LinkedIn, adding the following:
“The acts of September 11, 2001, unified our country in indescribable ways. Today, on this National Day of Service, I was proud to join members of our Dignity Health California team as we volunteered to give back to our communities by packing thousands of meals for 9/11 Day.”
Quoting Dignity Health California’s post:
“Today, we honor the memory of those we lost on September 11, 2001, and remember the lasting impact on our nation. Together, we hold onto hope, unity, and compassion.
The Dignity Health California team was honored to be part of the 8.5 million volunteers across the U.S. taking part in the National Day of Service. As part of 9/11 Meal Pack Day, the Los Angeles event team packed nearly half a million meals to support those facing food insecurity. The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank will distribute the meals to our communities most in need.”
