The Canadian Cancer Society organized the Bringing Biology to Cancer Prevention workshop

“Imagine what would be possible by bringing together emerging and prominent research leaders from the UK and Canada to discuss cancer prevention. That’s exactly what we’ve been engaged in over the last few days thanks to Cancer Research UK in collaboration with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Cancer Research Society, Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, and Terry Fox Foundation.

The Canadian Cancer Society recently collaborated to organize the Bringing Biology to Cancer Prevention workshop in London. This workshop brought together a small group of diverse researchers from the UK and Canada to exchange knowledge and address the challenge of cancer prevention.

We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate, exchange knowledge and address the challenge of cancer prevention. Nothing big gets solved by one person or one organization. It takes a society.”
