“Why would someone from pharma attend a WCLC24 about Understanding and Managing Compassion Fatigue in Medical Practice? Because I care about patients and my medical colleagues. I want to be able to support them during the good times and bad.

What is compassion fatigue? It’s the brain protecting us from repeated assaults on our ability to be compassionate. We have to lean into wellness in our professional settings. Note: lunchtime yoga is not included

There are professional and personal tactics to address compassion fatigue. I personally think that having trainings in stress first aid and a resilience plan is a great start to propose in the workplace.”
