“Today marks day 5 of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Families like Julianna’s (aka Juju) often face the heart-wrenching decision to uproot or separate to access the care their child battling cancer needs. This was the situation Juju’s family feared when she relapsed this year. In the midst of difficult decisions, one small relief was that they could choose a treatment close to home, allowing them to stay together.
