“Delighted that the first insertion within the HSE of a rectal spacer (SpacerOAR) has taken place in the St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network.

This technology aims to reduce longterm rectal damage from prostate radiotherapy.

Charles Gillham is a radiation oncologist at St. James Hospital. He specialises in Radiotherapy for benign thyroid disease, gynaecology, ano-rectal, haematological cancers and sarcoma. Dr Gillham is a graduate of University College London (1994) and following an MD at Trinity College Dublin.
