Khartoum Medical Students’ Association (KMSA) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The Faculty of Medicine – University of Khartoum is recognized as the leading institution for medical education in Sudan. Since its establishment in 1924 under the name Kitchener Medical College, the faculty graduated numerous skilled doctors who have made their names known across the medical field worldwide.
Khartoum Medical Students’ Association (KMSA) is the official body representing the faculty’s students. It was founded in 1954, i.e. 70 years ago. The association organizes all forms of student activities within the faculty and represents the students both within and outside the university. It focuses on various aspects related to students, including the development and enhancement of academic and non-academic areas, providing opportunities for professional development, and supporting social, cultural, and sports activities.
KMSA also plays a vital community role by organizing health education activities for all segments of society. This includes conducting health education campaigns and organizing medical days and missions that reach the farthest regions of Sudan, providing high-quality free medical services and increasing the society’s health awareness.”
