Vahe Grigoryan: Invaluable Experience at the GEO Hospital, Tbilisi
Vahe Grigoryan, 5th year medical student at YSMU, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m excited to share that I recently participated in a medical exchange program between Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi and Tbilisi Medical Academy from July 28 to August 10 at GEO Hospital, Tbilisi.
During this period, I had the privilege of working in the General Surgery Department under the mentorship of Dr. Levan Gogichaishvili, a highly skilled general surgeon specializing in tumors.
This experience was invaluable, as I had the opportunity to learn extensively and actively participate in several surgeries. It was a solid foundation that significantly enhanced my practical skills and deepened my understanding of surgical oncology.
I’m grateful to Dr. Gogichaishvili and the entire team at Geo Hospital for their support and for making this exchange a memorable and enriching experience.
I also want to extend my thanks to my fellow exchange students Sergey Badalyan, Lusine Khachatryan, Shota Martikyan, who made the whole process so much fun. Their camaraderie and support truly made this experience even more memorable.”
