How can a student contribute to the fight against cancer? – St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute
“How can a student contribute to the fight against cancer? Alessandro Rodia from Sir Karl Popper Schule has done it in a remarkable way. With his innovative Radiomics project, he won €1,000 at the ‘Jugend Innovativ’ competition and generously donated his prize money to St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute.
Now, his journey continues in the world of research with an internship in the group of Kaan Boztug, where he will deepen his knowledge and actively contribute to research projects.
We are proud to support and nurture young talents like Alessandro, whose innovation and dedication inspire us. His story exemplifies how anyone—regardless of age or experience—can make a real difference. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Alessandro for his generous donation and impressive commitment.
